Karen Refugee Camp, 2006
This was a very happy memory as some of the new arrivals to the camp received clothes donated from a charity. Although it is extremely hot during the day, at night temperatures can plummet to near freezing, leaving the Karen open to catching illnesses. Their grandmother looks on with a faint smile. She had a real sparkle in her eye a message of youthfulness and energy.
